Bereavement content demands a creative approach that leads with empathy first and information second – the audience needs to feel understood before they can hear anything else. We used animation to handle the subject with warmth and sensitivity, giving Phyllis Tuckwell a film that could reach families at their most vulnerable without ever feeling clinical or cold.
